The University of Nizwa participated in the Challenge and Innovation Forum
The University of Nizwa participated in the Challenge and Innovation Forum, Qatar. A silver medal was awarded for the patented budesonide prodrug in the individual competition. The event was a week-long program with individuals and hackathon competitions. Only 100 applications from approx. 6000 were selected after scrutiny and interview. There were participants from 38 countries who showcased their innovative products. The university was represented by Dr Anil Philip, a faculty at the College of Pharmacy and Nursing.
