College of Arts & Sciences participated in 6th International conference on Advances in Education ADVED, which held in fully virtual (online) format, on 5-6 October, 2020, with participation of researchers from 41 countries.

Prof. Rehab Hassan, professor in fashion design, faculty member at Department of Education & Cultural Studies presented a paper entitled:

LEGO BUILDING TECHNIQUE): AN INNOVATIVE PROPOSED STRATEGY IN TEACHING FASHION DESIGN PRACTICAL COURSES. The current paper addressed a proposed practical strategy to teach fashion design courses, which were implemented last fall semester 2019 at university of Nizwa. The implemented strategy was very useful to train fashion design students on formulating the design on dress stand -artificial mannequin.
